1907: Sunkist Orange Juice
There was a problem back in the early 1900s, lots of Californian orange farmers were picking way too many oranges and nobody was buying them, sp there was an excess. In 1907, Albert Lasker from the Lord & Thomas ad agency came up with a solution to rebrand one of the growers to Sunkist. This helped to popularise the new use for oranges and orange juice was created. Sunkist taught people how to squeeze oranges and use juicers. Nowadays, Sunkist and orange juice are an essential part of any breakfast.
